Origin
Sweden, 15th century, second half. The inclusion of the feasts of Knud Lavard, David, Joseph, and Knut of Denmark in the Proper of saints indicates that the manuscript was produced for use in the diocese of Västerås. The inclusion of St Katarina of Vadstena in the litany on f. 107r sugggests a date after 1482, when Pope Sixtus IV approved her veneration in the Nordic countries.
