The roll is kept wrapped in paper, then cloth and placed in a modern green cardboard tube, on which there is a National Library book label with current signum. The tube is stored in a cardboard box.

Sweden Närke , 15th century, last quarter to 16th century, first half. The most recent research on the text argues that it was written in the diocese of Kräcklinge in Närke between ca 1470 and 1535, cf Klingneus (1981) .

Early provenance unknown. The manuscript is presumed to have belonged to the Antiquities Archive.

Transferred from the Antiquitities Archive to the National Library. The manuscript was put on display in the exhibition room (visningssalen) at the National Library from .

Klingneus , argues that strip 2-4 and 5-7 where originally joined together. Strips 2-4 seem to be the oldest. Strips 5-7 contain text only on one side. The following presents the first and last line of each strip (for a full transcription see Edition):

Parchment The roll consists of 7 parchment strips. The strips are glued togehter, except for strip 3 and 4, which are joined together with a blue thread. The roll is currently wrapped around a modern wooden spindle.

Parchment stained and darkened in places. A few holes in the parchment, but no loss of text.

Text written by several different hands in gothic cursive and hybrida.
