Byzantine binding, possibly original.
Origin
13th or early 14th c. (before 1313). This manuscripts most likely was the exemplar of Parisinus suppl. gr. 462 which is dated to 1313.
Provenance
Belonged to the Dousikon monastery in Thessaly, south of the Meteora monastaries. Owners note written upside down in the right bottom corner of the page on ff. 185v–170v: βι | βλί | ον | τῆς | μονῆς | τοῦ | κ(υρίο)υ | σ(ωτῆ)ρ(ο)ς | ἡμῶν | ἰ(ησο)ῦ | χ(ριστο)ῦ | τῶν με | γά | λων | πυλῶν.
Acquisition
The manuscript was probably acquired by Jacob Jonas Björnståhl and came to Uppsala University Library in 1784 as part of a donation by consisting of 13 Greek manuscripts.
